“Environment is no one’s property to destroy; it’s everyone’s responsibility to protect.”
— Mohith Agadi
I’m an artist, fabricator, and designer based in Queens, New York. My work spans printmaking, prop fabrication, scenic painting, production design, and arts education, united by a love of making things by hand and a curiosity about how people relate to the environments they inhabit.
With a background in landscape architecture and studio art, I move between thinking about systems, stories, and materials. I’m interested in how built environments - whether a theater set, a fabricated object, or a printed image - shape the way we experience the world around us.
Over the years, I’ve contributed to productions across stage and screen through scenic painting, prop fabrication, and production design. These experiences have reinforced my belief that making is a form of world-building: an opportunity to create spaces, objects, and experiences that invite people to see differently, pay closer attention, and connect more deeply with their surroundings.
My practice sits at the intersection of fine art, fabrication, and design, guided by the idea that thoughtful, well-crafted work can influence how we understand and move through the world.
I’m also a member of the American Society of Graphic Artists!
